When it comes to charity
They quote tree;
They say all that it does
Is to give away fruits,
Flowers, shade and the frangrance
All for free.
Well, it's but a poetic invention,
I disagree.
For I have never seen
A giver bigger than man itself,
Of love, compassion
And then himself;
Sometimes for his country,
Sometimes for love
Sometimes for family.
Well, I never believe
Trees give away anything for free,
Intentionally.
