Cemented jungle

A thought appeared to me just now,
Just a thought, that
Seemed gross to propose,
Felt you shouldn't take it as that.
We are but living in cemented jungle,
Crowded, taller and bigger monuments of our habitat
Seemed just like a tree
Serving insects, birds and many races.
The homes decorated with
Furniture, tiles and paints
Seemed just like a cave, burrow or a den;
Only decorated wisely to hide the drain.
The law of jungle works same here as well,
Stronger animals kill weaker ones in jungle
We kill weaker ones whole lives
By making them slaves.
Some animals kill in groups,
Smaller and slower die in troops;
And we kill using religions,
Never trying for peace.
We were developed from animal, I guess,
By being superior and gaining brains;
And we thought we became human
While we built our cemented jungles.
In too many ways animals outsmart us,
They kill for hunger and kill just enough;
We never know when human will destroy human,
We are going there sure enough.
