My beloved one,
Let me tell you
That you are the reason
For the better person I have become.
Just took a look at my past,
Was able to see what a being I was
With no wit of living
Till I mate you, at last.
It's hard to believe;
I often thought I was the better half
And you the inferior one,
A look at past and I hopped.
It was you, always you,
The better one among us,
I boasted myself
And you never broke the spell.
I shall walk alone now,
And you'll walk alone too,
I pray you forgive me for the person I was;
And remember, am grateful to you.
