On gloomy night

I sat on the roof
Beneath the big black sky
That looked so bare and bizarre
With no moon and no star.
Looked like some vicious shadow
Had had it for good
Which weighed strangely
Onto my gloomy mood.
I looked around for a long long time
And found not a peck of light,
Until I reclined on the floor
Till there came the bright sunshine.
